We film with only the best slow motion cameras: the Sony FS700, Red Epic, and Phantom Flex and Phantom Miro cameras.
Sony NEX-FS700U Super 35 Camcorder
The Sony FS700 is a fully professional large-sensor video camera. This compact, highly modular camera features a native 4K resolution sensor. Unlike smaller, broadcast-style sensors or the larger “full-frame” sensors of some DSLRs, the NEX-FS700’s imaging area matches that of standard Hollywood film cameras, providing complete compatibility with cine-style film lenses.
Featuring a 5K sensor capable of capturing 1 to 120 frames per second at full resolution. From fashion spreads to 3D IMAX features, EPIC has crossbred elite photography with unrivalled cinema capability. The following films were shot on Epic: The Hobbit, Thor, Elysium, Much Ado About Nothing, Star Trek Into Darkness, The Great Gatsby, and many more.
The Phantom Miro is a small, lightweight, rugged digital high-speed camera packed with Academy Award winning technology and advanced features including 1920 x 1080 resolution at 1,540 fps, 1152 x 1152 square resolution at 2,200 fps, and ISO Monochrome 12,500T; 5,000D.
